#BehindTheTitans Feature: Maddie Bennett

Q: Being a Senior on the team, what's one thing so far that has been the most memorable for you?

A: We took a team trip to Mile High Pines in the Spring. We got to bond together for a few days. We did competitions between us and the coaches, we did skits. It was good time for us to come together and get closer and get prepared for the upcoming season.

Q: You've been named Big West Offensive Player of the Week, what is one thing that has helped you be so successful?

A: In practice the entire team pushes each other really hard which has really helped me to get in the spots that I am in, such as Big West Offensive Player of the Week. My entire team is working so hard and I happened to be in the right spot. It's the hard work that we all put in everyday, in and out, which has made me so successful.

Q: Why did you choose to go to CSUF?

A: I transferred from the University of Arizona because it wasn't the right fit for me. So I started looking for places that were closer to home. I looked at [Cal State] Fullerton and I knew some players that went here and heard all good things. And so I checked it out and loved the location and the coaching staff. During my visit the entire team was so welcoming and I wasn't even on the team yet. That is was sold me

Q: What song would best describe your team? Why?

A: We Are Family [by Sister Sledge] because before every practice and game we all come together and we say "Family" because we are working for each other, we are all on the field for each other, and it is a perfect song to describe us.
