FULLERTON, Calif. – More than 100 golfers took the green on Monday at Black Gold Golf Club as Cal State Fullerton hosted the sixth-annual Folino Invitational fundraiser.
The Titans netted over $215,000, the most the fundraiser has ever generated, as the funds will be directed into an endowment to support CSF's men's and women's golf programs.
Along with Title Sponsor Microsemi Corporation, other corporate sponsors included Jackson Square Partners, CoreLogic, Schroeder Management Company, SC Fuels and US Bank.
The tournament is named for philanthropist Paul Folino, the primary benefactor behind the return of intercollegiate golf to Cal State Fullerton in 2009-10 after a hiatus of more than two decades.
