Cal State Fullerton Athletics

Sydney Shipley joined Cal State Fullerton in August of 2019 as the compliance specialist. In 2023, she was promoted to an assistant athletic director of compliance. 

Shipley earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from College of Charleston in May of 2017. She then became a compliance intern at the university in February of 2018. In January of 2019, she was promoted to compliance coordinator until for seven months until becoming a Titan.

As the compliance coordinator, she was responsible for preliminary initial eligibility evaluations, complimentary admissions, student-athlete housing monitoring, participation records, and countable hours (CARA) records.  Shipley was the primary JumpForward System administration and support contact and was tasked with assisting on NLI document preparation.

Shipley played softball for Long Beach State for two years before transferring to College of Charleston where she also played on the softball team.
