Gabriela (Gabby) Dupree joined Cal State Fullerton in June of 2021 as the DEGREE Lab Coordinator. This program provides academic support to all of our student-athletes to assist in a timely graduation. She added advising responsibilities in Spring 2022.
Prior to this position, Dupree worked in Athletic Academic Services at CSUF as a Senior DEGREE Lab Mentor from August to June 2021. Additionally, Dupree was a fieldwork intern for AAS in 2019. Prior to her experiences with AAS, Dupree served as the Graduate Assistant for Sports Clubs in the Office of Student Life & Leadership from July 2018 to July 2020. She advised student executive board members of the Sports Clubs Inter-Club Council assisting them in managing a budget, planning events, and developing their leadership skills through monthly leadership development opportunities. While at CSUF, she earned her Master’s degree in Higher Education with in emphasis in Educational Leadership.
Originally from San Marcos, California, Dupree graduated from Sonoma State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Chicano and Latino Studies with a minor in Spanish. Dupree played four seasons for the Sonoma State Softball team from 2014-2018 and was team captain for her final season. As a pitcher, she earned Rookie of the Year in 2015.
