CHICAGO, Ill. - Cal State Fullerton extended their win streak to three straight matches after sweeping Western Carolina on day two of the Windy City Invitational. The Titans now boast a 4-1 record on the season.
The first set was back-and-forth between the Titans and Catamounts, but CSF came out on top taking it 26-24. Fullerton kept it rolling into the second set taking care of business, 25-21, as they looked for their second sweep of the season.
Western Carolina dominated most of the third set growing their lead to 19-10 towards the end. However, the Titans came all the way back to not only eliminate the deficit but to take the third set 27-25 and complete the sweep.
Cal State Fullerton has now won three straight matches and six straight sets. They'll close out their weekend in Chicago with Alabama State tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
