CHICAGO, Ill. - Cal State Fullerton dropped the first two sets, but battled back to defeat Chicago State in five sets in the Windy City Invitational.

The Cougars took control out of the gate winning the first set 25-20 to give them the early advantage. The second set was back-and-forth, but the Titans would eventually fall 27-25 and find themselves down 0-2 in the match.

However, Fullerton was ready to fight taking the third and fourth sets by a 25-20 score to force a deciding fifth set.

The Titans controlled the deciding set taking 15-10 to complete the comeback and take down the Cougars in the opening match of the weekend.

Cal State Fullerton will be back at it in the morning taking on Western Carolina at 9:30 a.m. PT.
