Titans Return Home for Two Non-Conference Matches

FULLERTON, Calif. – After a two matches in Hawai'i, the Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team returns home to Titan Courts for two non-conference matches against Colorado State University on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and Wyoming University on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

The Titans (7-9, 0-5) have won four of their last five home matchups at Titan Courts, all wins coming against non-conference teams.  Fullerton beat Southern Utah (4-0), Eastern Michigan (5-2), Loyola Marymount (4-3) and SIUE (5-2) with a 4-3 loss to Pacific sandwiched in between.

Colorado State (3-6, 0-1) opens its Southern California road trip with a match against Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Tuesday before heading to Fullerton to take on the Titans on Wednesday.  In the last time out, the Rams pulled out a 4-3-comeback victory over Montana that featured tiebreak's in all three doubles decisions.

The Titans opponent on Thursday, Wyoming (6-5, 0-0), also begin a California road trip this week with their first stop being in Fullerton to take on the Titans before heading out to the Titans Big West Conference foe CSUN.  The Cowgirls' previous match also came against Montana, beating the Grizzlies 6-1 on Sunday.  Wyoming dominated the match, winning the doubles point by winning two of three matchups and took five of six points in the singles.
