SAN DIEGO --Jessica Pepa won her No. 6 singles match in straight sets but that was the only scoring for Cal State Fullerton Sunday in a non-conference women's tennis match at University of San Diego won by the Toreros, 6-1.
The Titans went 0-2 on the weekend trip south to fall to 2-2 in the dual match season.
Pepa swept Carly Naslund, 6-2, 6-0.
Fullerton's No. 3 doubles team of Emilia Borkowski and Kalika Slevcove won their match but the Toreros captured No. 1 and No. 2 to take the doubles points.
The Titans open Big West Conference play Friday with a 1:30 p.m. home match against Long Beach State.
