Titans Win on Day One at Matador Collegiate Invitational

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team earned several wins during the first day of the Matador Collegiate Invitational at CSUN on Friday.
 

Senior Jessica Pepa earned her first win of the fall with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Corrine Schnyder of CSUN. The Chula Vista, Calif., native will play Nazomi Matsuoka of Cal State Los Angeles on Saturday.


Junior Rebekkah Ermac recorded her first win of the year as well, defeating Victoria Vo of Cal State Los Angeles, 6-0, 6-4. Ermac will play Logan Finnell from Loyola Marymount on Saturday.


In doubles play, the team of Emilia Borkowski and Kalika Slevcove defeated Cal Poly's Abigail Bacharach and Bryn Bacharach, 8-1. Borkowski and Slevcove will play Inge Hendrix and Laura Oldham of Arizona on Saturday.
