LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team failed to advance on Saturday at the Beach Tennis Tournament on the campus of Long Beach State.

Competing in the single flight 1 winners' bracket, sophomore Alexis Valenzuela suffered a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 loss to Ebba Unden of Long Beach State. Also in the singles flight 1 winners' bracket, sophomore Camille De Leon fell 6-0, 6-0 to Maeva Razakasoa of Long Beach State.

Playing in the doubles extras flight the team of De Leon and Megan Sandford edged Loyola Marymount's Lisa Pillar and Ellie Grossman, 8-6.

The doubles teams of Devyn Billingsley and Jessica Pepa as well as Danielle Pham and Michelle Erasmus are scheduled to compete on Sunday in extra doubles matches.

Billinglsey, Pham, Pepa, De Leon and Erasmus are scheduled to compete in extra singles action on Sunday as well.
