Regular Season Recap
Cal State Fullerton finished the season with a record of 7-14 overall and a mark of 1-7 in Big West Conference play.

The Titans lost six matches by the score of 4-3, including three in conference play.

Freshman Alexis Valenzuela (15-4), had her 14-match winning streak snapped last week as she suffered a loss to Cal Poly's Jennifer Cornea at the top of the lineup. The native of West Covina, Calif., now has more wins than any Titan singles player dating back to 2001 (the last year stats are available).

In singles dual action, Fullerton sports a record of 59-66 (.472), although the top three spots hold a winning record of 39-24 (.619), while the bottom three positions in the lineup have struggled at 20-42 (.323).

In addition to Valenzuela, two Titans completed the year with winning records as senior Morgan McIntosh (12-9) and freshman Camille De Leon (12-9) have recorded successful campaigns.

In doubles play, the Titans are 28-33 (.459) and the team of Megan Sandford and Valenzuela is 5-3 this season. Fullerton has compiled six losses this season – to Loyola Marymount (Feb. 9), UC Irvine (Feb. 13), UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 23), Georgetown (Mar. 8), Wyoming (Mar. 21) and UC Davis (April 5) – due to the loss of the doubles point which proved to be the difference.
