2010 JUDI GARMAN SOFTBALL CLASSIC

Cal State Fullerton once again welcomes some of the nation's best
collegiate softball teams to Southern California to compete in one
of the country's most prestigious tournaments - the Judi Garman
Classic.
The 2010 Judi Garman Classic presented by Coach USA, named after the former Titan Hall of Fame Head Softball Coach and widely regarded as the premiere mid-season collegiate tournament in the country, will be held at the dual diamond Titan Softball Complex on Wednesday, March 17, to Sunday, March 21.
Former NCAA Champions Oklahoma (2000), Fresno State (1998), and Michigan (2005), along with eight-time national champion Arizona (1991, 1993-94, 1996-97, 2001, 2006-07), Arizona State (2008), and 2009 champion Washington join host Cal State Fullerton (1986) in this year's event as the field includes seven schools ranked in the final 2009 National Fastpitch Coaches Association top 25 poll and four teams that received votes.
The Judi Garman Classic features eight former tournament
champions in Arizona (1988, 1995-96, 1998), Arizona State (1999),
Fresno State (1990, 2008), Louisiana-Lafayette (1994), Texas
(2006), Washington (2000, 2004), Michigan (2005), and Oklahoma
(1997, 2007) that will compete along with the host Titans (1981-82,
1985-87, 1991-92, 2001-02). Fullerton, Michigan, Washington,
Nebraska, and Arizona State all tied for the top spot in 2009 with
identical 4-1 records.
