Titans to Host Fifth-Annual "Power in Pink" Game Sunday

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton softball team will host its fifth-annual "Power in Pink" Day to support breast cancer research and awareness on Sunday (April 14) during its Big West Conference series finale with Hawai'i at Anderson Family Field.

Fans are encouraged to join the Titans and Rainbow Wahine in wearing pink to show their support of the cause while Sunday's first pitch will be performed by guest of honor, and Cal State Fullerton softball alumna, Teri Doucette, who was a played for the Titans in 1980 and is a breast cancer survivor.

The Titans and Rainbow Wahine will meet for the first time as Big West conference foes and for the first time since 2010 when the two teams matched up in Las Vegas, Nev. Hawai'i hasn't played
against the Titans at Anderson Family Field since 2003 when Fullerton won 3-1 on March 13th.

First pitch for Sunday's game will be at 12 p.m. with the pregame festivities starting at approximately 11:50 a.m. General admission tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for youth/seniors, and $4 for groups 20 or more is presale only at fullertontitans.com
