Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach (1st Season)

Alba Barrios returned to the program as a volunteer assistant coach in the spring of 2021. Barrios was a member of the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team from 2015 to 2019 and graduated as a Titan in 2019 with a degree in business and then earned her masters of science in finance and investment from the University of Essex in England.

As a player, Barrios' final season was her best season. After sitting out the 2018 season due to injury, the team captain started all 21 matches in 2019 and was a staple in the midfield of a team that won the Big West regular season title and Big West Tournament Championship. She tallied two assists, had six shots on goal and a .545 shots on goal percentage. She logged a total of 1,585 minutes.

She was also a member of the 2017 and 2015 Big West Tournament winning squads and played in 72 matches for the Titans.

She was born in Santa Ana, Calif. to Carlos and Evelyn Barrios. She has four siblings: Carlos, Evelyn, Jennifer and Rick and earned a degree in business. played for LA Galaxy and head coach Jeff Schofield as a defensive and central attacking midfielder…won the Far West Regionals twice and one Surf Cup championship…was invited to play for the Guatemalan national team.
