SAN FRANCISCO - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer drew 3-3 at San Francisco on Friday night. Thanks to big nights from seniors Maddie Bennett and Atlanta Primus, the squad now heads into Big West Conference play with a 7-2-1 overall record and is riding a six-match unbeaten streak.

Fullerton jumped on USF early, scoring three goals in the first 18 minutes of the match. However, USF responded with two goals late in the first half to get back in the match and then tied things up in the 69th minute to ultimately send the match to extra time and be the last goal of the match.

Bennett scored the first, her seventh of the year, as Sarah Davidson's strong run up the left flank and low cross found Bennett and after her first shot was saved she buried the second chance.

Primus scored the next two goals, both assisted by Bennett and junior Haley Brown. She now has tied Bennett for the most on the team and in the Big West to go with her nation-leading eight assists. For her career, Primus' 20-career goals place her in a tie for the No. 8 mark in school history with current assistant coach Stacey Webster (then Fox).

Prior to the equalizer in the 69th, sophomore goalkeeper Allison Poole saved a USF penalty kick.

It was a wide open match as USF took 23 shots (11 on target) while Fullerton took 19 (nine on target). CSF won three corners and the Dons won six.

The Titans are back in action on Thursday at Titan Stadium against UC Davis for the first Big West match of the season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT.
