FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's soccer fell 2-1 at Utah Valley on Monday afternoon to fall to 2-2 overall on the year. The Titans allowed two goals in the first 17 minutes of the match and despite senior Atlanta Primus' goal in the 51st minute, the Titans could not complete the comeback.
Amber Tripp scored at the 7:50 mark to put UVU ahead 1-0 after breaking through the defense. The second UVU goal came at the 16:06 mark and was officially scored as an own goal. The opposing player played a low cross into the 18-yard box and the Titan defender tried to clear the ball but mis-hit it and it went into the back of the net.
Senior Maddie Bennett flashed her speed to get by the defender and drew a foul inside the 18-yard box to win a penalty for the Titans. Primus stepped up and buried it, scoring for the second straight game and bringin her season total to two. She has now scored 15 goals in her career.

The Titans out-shot UVU 13-9 and won nine (four in the first, five in the second) corner kicks while allowing just one all game.
Cal State Fullerton returns home to play two matches at Titan Stadium this weekend. First, the Titans play Houston at 7:30 p.m. PT on Friday after the men's soccer match. On Sunday, Fullerton plays Kansas State at 4 p.m. PT while the men play afterwards at 7 p.m.

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
