IRVINE, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton senior Rebecca Wilson scored three goals in a pair of road victories to claim Big West Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors.

The forward and reigning Big West Offensive Player of the Year leads the Big West in goals (5) and points (12) just two weeks into the season.

Wilson scored on her only shot of the match, a penalty kick attempt, in a 4-2 triumph at Idaho State on Friday.  In Sunday's 3-1 victory at Pac-12 opponent Utah, Wilson tallied the game-winning goal and added an insurance knock late in the match to cement the outcome.

Wilson's heroics helped the Titans to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2008 and just the third time in program history (1995).  In the Titan record book, Wilson is now tied with Amber Dickey for fifth all-time with 51 career points, and her 20 career goals tie current Fullerton assistant coach Stacey Fox for sixth all-time.  Wilson's seven career game-winning goals rank third all-time at CSF.

This marks the second straight week a Titan player has won Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors as Christina Burkenroad earned the honor on Aug. 24.

In addition, this is Wilson's third career Player of the Week award.

The Titans return to Titan Stadium on Friday at 5 p.m., hosting FGCU in a doubleheader with the men's team. Both Cal State Fullerton (4-0) and the Eagles (3-0-1) enter the match unbeaten. Fullerton will also host UNLV at 2 p.m., Sunday.

Cal Poly senior goalkeeper Alyssa Giannetti was named Big West Women's Defensive Player of the Week.

Others nominated: Caitlyn Kruetz (Cal Poly); Cynthia Sanchez (CSUN); Rocio Rodriguez (Long Beach State); Rachel Smith (UC Davis); Alexa Bustamante (UC Riverside); Tiana Fujimoto (Hawai'i)
