FullertonTitans.com: Why did you decide to attend Cal State Fullerton and play for the Titans?
Brooke: I chose Cal State Fullerton because it was the perfect fit for me. The school size and location were exactly what I was looking for, and after my first visit, I fell in love. The strength of the soccer program and the coaching staff made the decision to pick Cal State Fullerton even easier.
FullertonTitans.com: You scored 27 goals and added 10 assists as a senior leading Chino High School to back-to-back Mt. Baldy (2014) and Hacienda (2015) League titles. What was the most memorable moment from your senior year?
Brooke: My most memorable moment on the field was scoring the first goal and then assisting the second goal in our final league game that clinched the league championship. My most memorable moment off the field was being named league MVP for the second year in a row.
FullertonTitans.com: What is the best advice you have ever been given and by whom?
Brooke: My high school trainer, Kevin, always reminds me to just go with the flow and take things one day at a time, and to always remember to have fun and be myself.
FullertonTitans.com: Cal State Fullerton head coach Demian Brown describes you as a left midfielder that will add another element to the attack serving in quality passes. So tell us, what's more fun, scoring or serving up the perfect assist?
Brooke: Both are fun in their own way. I love scoring, but if I can give a teammate the perfect ball and it helps our team win, that is feeling is the best.
FullertonTitans.com: Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
Brooke: I always have to put my left sock on first. I won't cut the corner walking on to the field before a game.
FullertonTitans.com: You were a four-year Scholar Athlete in high school. What do you plan to study at Cal State Fullerton and why?
Brooke: I plan to study Childhood & Adolescent Development. My goal is to become a Kindergarten teacher because I want to work with children.
FullertonTitans.com: If you could have a super hero power, what would it be and why?
Brooke: I would want to be able to fly. I would be able to get anywhere I needed to go fast. I would never have to worry about being late to anything.
