FULLERTON, Calif. – Winners of three consecutive Big West championships while making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, the Cal State Fullerton women' soccer team released its 2015 schedule on Monday.

The Titans, Big West Conference regular season champions in 2012 and 2014 as well as Big West Tournament champions in 2013 and 2014, will play 11 home matches at Titan Stadium and will host the Big West Conference Tournament in November.

Fullerton's schedule will feature three opponents that finished the 2014 season in the top-60 of the RPI, as well as three opponents that played in the NCAA Tournament. In addition, 11 opponents boasted winning records a year ago.

"Coming off last season, I wanted to put together a schedule that would truly challenge our program to continue to improve," 2014 Big West Coach of the Year Demian Brown said. "I feel that the opportunity to host two very good out of region programs in the opening weekend will give us a great indicator as to where we are. Traveling to play Pac-12 schools as well as hosting top quality programs will truly put us to the test in our non-conference games."

Cal State Fullerton opens the season hosting the Fullerton Tournament at Titan Stadium featuring George Washington, Liberty and UC Riverside. Fullerton last hosted a regular season tournament in 2003.

The Titans will play their home and season opener on Friday, Aug. 21 as Liberty travels to Fullerton for the first meeting ever between the two programs.

Liberty (14-4-2, 8-1-1 BSC) won the Big South regular season championship in 2014, but missed out on the opportunity to advance to the NCAA Tournament. The Flames tied High Point, 2-2, in the Big South Tournament championship game, and lost out on the title by way of penalty kicks, 5-4.

George Washington, another first-time opponent for Cal State Fullerton, finished last season with a record of 12-6-1 as well as a mark of 4-3-1 in the Atlantic 10.

Following opening weekend, Cal State Fullerton will make a return trip to Idaho State after defeating the Bengals, 4-1, at Titan Stadium in 2014. Idaho State (10-9-1, 5-4-1 Big Sky) suffered a 2-1 loss to Northern Arizona in the Big Sky Tournament Championship game. The all-time series between the Titans and ISU is even at 1-1-1, and Fullerton will be making its first trip to Pocatello.

Utah (8-8-4, 1-8-2 Pac-12) is one of two Pac-12 opponents on the Titans' schedule. The meeting will be the sixth between the two programs as Fullerton will make its second trip to Salt Lake City and its first since 2008 – a 1-1 tie. The all-time series is even at 1-1-3.

The Titans will then return home to host FGCU (Sept. 4) and UNLV (Sept. 6). FGCU finished the season with an RPI of 33 as well as a record of 17-4-0 and undefeated mark of 7-0 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, winning both the regular season and tournament championships. The Eagles suffered a first round 1-0 loss to Auburn in the NCAA Tournament. During the year, FGCU won a program record 13 consecutive matches, outscoring opponents 36-7 with seven shutouts, while capturing the program's fifth straight regular season title. The match will be the first between the two programs.

The Titans will host UNLV (9-8-2, 4-6-1 Mountain West) in the first meeting between the two programs since 2011. The Rebels leads the series 3-1-1, and 2014 will mark their fourth trip to Titan Stadium.

The Titans will then venture to the Northwest visiting Gonzaga and Washington State.
Cal State Fullerton boasts a 2-0-0 record in the all-time series against the Bulldogs (9-9-1, 4-4-1 West Coast), although this will be Fullerton's first visit to Spokane, Wash.

Fullerton will play its second Pac-12 opponent on the road at Washington State (10-5-4, 5-4-2). The Cougars finished the season with an RPI of 24 and suffered a 2-1 double overtime loss to Seattle in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The series against the Cougars is even at 1-1-0 and the match will mark Fullerton's first trip to Pullman.

The Titans will close the non-conference portion of their schedule hosting West Coast Conference members Loyola Marymount (Sept. 25) and San Diego (Sept. 27).

The Lions (9-8-2, 2-6-1 WCC) recorded a 1-0 victory in double overtime against the Titans a year ago in Los Angeles. This year's match will mark the fifth straight season the programs square off as well as the 19th overall. LMU leads the series 10-7-1.

San Diego finished 2014 with an RPI of 55 after completing the year with a record 10-8-2 overall and a 6-3-0 mark in the WCC. The Toreros suffered a 5-0 loss at UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. San Diego leads the all-time series 10-5-0.

Cal State Fullerton will open Big West play on the road at Long Beach State on Oct. 4. The Titans defeated the 49ers, 2-1, in the 2014 Big West Tournament championship game in San Luis Obispo, Calif., last season.

The Titans will close the regular season on the road at Cal Poly on Nov. 1, and the Big West Tournament will be held at Titan Stadium due to the Titans winning the regular season championship in 2014.

Fullerton also hosted the Big West Tournament in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2013.

The Titans will host Richmond (Aug. 12) and will travel to Pepperdine (Aug. 15) for two exhibition matches before the regular season home opener.

Cal State Fullerton (10-8-4), the 2014 Big West regular season and tournament champion, completed its 2014 season with a 5-2 loss at then third-ranked Stanford in the first round of the 33rd NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship on Nov. 14.

The Titans completed Big West Conference play undefeated (6-0-2) to win the 2014 Big West regular season championship and earn the league's No. 1 seed at the Big West Tournament. For Fullerton, it was the program's second regular season title in three years (2012, 2014). At the Big West Tournament, held in San Luis Obispo, Calif., the Titans defeated CSUN, 1-0, in the semifinals and edged Long Beach State, 2-1, in the finals to claim back-to-back Big West Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament berths.

The Titans produced their fourth-straight winning season, and finished Big West play unbeaten with a record of 6-0-2. The only other Titan team to remain undefeated in league action was the 1996 squad (6-0-1).

From Oct. 2-Nov. 9, 2014, the Titans maintained a 10-match unbeaten streak, their longest undefeated streak since producing an 11-match winning streak from Oct. 7-Nov. 13, 2005.

Brown was named Big West Coach of the Year for the third time in his career while juniorRebecca Wilson was voted the league's Offensive Player of the Year. In addition, Wilson, Morgan Batcheller and Christina Burkenroad received NSCAA All-West Region honors.
