FULLERTON, Calif. – In February, Cal State Fullerton women's soccer head coach Demian Brown inked his 2014 signing class to National Letters of Intent.
Throughout the spring, FullertonTitans.com will "Get to Know" the newest Titans, that will step on campus for the 2014-15 academic year.
The second 2014 Titan signee to join FullertonTitans.com for the Q&A is forward Kim Braddock of Simi Valley, Calif.
FullertonTitans.com: Why did you decide to attend Cal State Fullerton and play for the Titans?
Kim: I really felt comfortable when visiting the school, and I loved the atmosphere amongst the team and coaches. It also helped that my two best friends committed with me.
FullertonTitans.com: You know fellow signees and Morgan Bertsch and Lindsey Stasinis from your club team, what are thoughts on remaining teammates with them through college.
Kim: I am so excited to continue playing with my best friends! The decision for all of us commit to the university was so easy, especially since we could all stay together. It couldn't have worked out any better!
FullertonTitans.com: What would you describe your style of play as in front of the goal?
Kim: I'm known for being dangerous in the air and going hard to the ball. I'm very motivated to help my team be successful, whether it is helping someone score or scoring myself.
FullertonTitans.com: What do you love most about the sport of soccer?
Kim: I love how every match is different and presents knew challenges. Its not only a test of physical strength, but also mental toughness. Playing just makes me happy!
FullertonTitans.com: If you were stranded on a desert island, what is the one thing you would bring and why?
Kim: A soccer ball so I could practice for the juggling test
FullertonTitans.com: If you could plan one road trip for the 2014 season, where would you want to go play and why?
Kim: I would really enjoy playing the University of San Francisco so I could play against one of my best friends from my club team!
FullertonTitans.com: What should Cal State Fullerton fans know about you?
Kim: I am a twin and I'm obsessed with my dog
FullertonTitans.com: Tell us about your favorite moment on the soccer field?
Kim: Scoring the winning goal in the SC Blues tournament off a diving header. It felt great to help my team win the championship!
