FULLERTON, Calif. – The defending 2013 Big West Tournament champions return to action with their first practice of the spring on Feb. 24, as the Titans prep for their 2014 spring schedule.

Fullerton will play seven matches during the spring, hosting six at Titan Stadium.

"This is always an exciting time of the year," associate head coach Diego Bocanegra said. "Even though we lost another great class of seniors, we are excited for other players to increase their role on the team. We will focus on the areas of individual skills, fitness, leadership and maturity. As each player improves, the team will grow. By the end of the spring, our team will have it's own identity and be ready to make its mark on our program."

The action begins on Friday, March 7 with a 7 p.m., match against Cal Baptist The Lancers completed the 2013 season with a record of 12-5-1, and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Cal State San Marcos will visit Fullerton for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday, March 15. The Cougars advanced to the NAIA National Championship Second Round and finished their season with a record of 12-6-1.

The Titans return to the pitch following the 2013 season, which included a first-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament as well as a 2013 Big West Tournament championship.
