FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton will play five tournaments out of state including two trips to the eastern time zone as head coach Pearl Sinn-Bonanni released the 2015-16 schedule on Friday.

"I am extremely excited about this upcoming season," Bonanni said. "We have four returning players who have contributed to the team last season and we are bringing in four freshmen who come to us with lots of competitive experience. I have high expectations of being very competitive. With expectations comes responsibilities and we look forward to guiding this years squad to a successful season."

The Titans begin the season on Sept. 14 with a trip to the Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Golf Course at Albuquerque, N.M. One week later, Fullerton will head to Pullman, Wash. to participate in the Cougar Cup, hosted by Washington State at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

The team will play the third tournament in a three-week stretch on Sept. 26 when the Titans head to the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Classic hosted by Wyoming at the Classic Club Golf Course in Palm Desert, Calif. The Titans did not participate in the tournament during the 2014-15 campaign but took first place the year before, shooting a collective 909 at the 54-hole event.

Fullerton will then head to Kapalua Golf Club in Lahaina, Hawaii for the Big West Conference Championships.

The Titans are coming off their best showing at the conference championships, posting a collective 917, the best score by a Fullerton squad at the Big West Championships since the women's golf program was reinstated for the 2009-10 season.

In two seasons at Fullerton, Edberg has recorded three victories and a 74.61 scoring average, both program records. She has 14 top-20 finishes, which ranks third in Fullerton history.

Sophomore Brittany Farrell joins Edberg, looking to improve on a fabulous freshman campaign. Farrell had the second best scoring average during the 2014-15 season, posting a 76.45 average. She posted three top-20 finishes including a top-10 as a freshman.
