FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's basketball team defeated the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes 72-40 on Saturday at Titan Gym in an exhibition game.
Una Jovanovic and Ashlee Lewis led the offense with 14 points a piece. Aixchel Hernandez also chipped in with 10 points off the bench.
The Titans shot 46 % from the field and held the Coyotes to 24.1 shooting percentage.
The Titans led 18-10 after the first quarter.
The Titans led 37-22 after the first half. Una Jovanovic led the Titans with 11 points. The TItans shot 51.9 % (15-29) from the floor in the first half.
The Titans led 52-31 after three quarters of play and finished the game with a 72-40 lead.
The Titans begin the 2022/23 season on the road at Santa Clara on Friday, November 11th. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
