SERIES NOTES
Fresno State: The all-time series between the Titans and Bulldogs reaches as far back as 1972 to the teams' first meeting, a 51-24 Fullerton win at Titan Gym.  CSF dominated the 1970's and 1980's against Fresno State, winning 12 out of 14 games from 1972 to 1989.  The Bulldogs have returned the favor as of late, winning eight out of the last 10 games from 1992 to present day.  The last time these two teams met was Nov. 16, 2013 at Titan Gym when the Bulldogs outpaced the Titans, winning 68-57.

PARK'S PREVIEW
"We're excited about going on the road again, and we're excited with the progress we have made since the last time we've been home.  It is important for us to go to Fresno to play hard and compete to finish our six-game road trip on a positive note.  Fresno is always a tough trip and we'll have our hands full this week, but we're excited about the opportunity and are looking forward to being back out on the court." - Daron Park

FULLERTON'S RECENT RESULTS
Dec. 3 at Denver
Fullerton won its second-straight game Dec. 3, powering past Denver, 78-61, at Magness Arena behind a double-double from Kathleen Iwuoha and a game-high 28 points from Chante Miles.
The Titans received another huge night from the senior duo of Miles and Iwuoha who have been doing it all for the Titans so far this season.  Miles, who is on a six-game streak of scoring in double figures, has not played less than 35 minutes in a game since Nov. 18 at San Diego.  Iwuoha has also been a catalyst for the Titan offense since her injection into the starting lineup, as she posted her second double-double of the season, scoring 24 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.
The difference in the second half of the game was the three-point shooting of the Titans.  Denver could only connect on 1-of-11 three-point attempts in the final half while the Titans shot 58 percent (7-of-12) from behind the three-point line.  Samantha Logan and Tailer Butler played a big part in that, both shooting 3-of-4 from behind the arc with Miles connecting on a team-high five three-pointers in 10 attempts.

Dec. 6 at South Dakota
Fullerton lost to South Dakota on Dec. 6, 86-50, at Dakota Dome behind 15 points from the Coyotes' Nicole Seekamp.
South Dakota was balanced in its attack, as Margaret McCloud contributed 13 points, Raeshel Contreras and Kelly Stewart each added 12 points, and Tia Hemiller scored 11.  South Dakota shot the ball well all afternoon, ending the game shooting 53 percent (32-of-61) from the field and 44 percent (11-of-25) from behind the three-point arc.
The game featured little drama as the Coyotes opened the game on a 21-2 run, and never let the Titans back into the game.  Fullerton could not muster the second-half, three-point shooting magic they have been finding all season long, as they shot 25 percent (7-of-28) from three-point range in the game and 32 percent (18-of-56) from the field.
Despite the loss, Chante Miles poured in 16 points to keep her scoring streak intact and become the 23rd member of the 1,000-point club in the Titan women's basketball record book. Miles has now scored in double figures in six-straight games, and seven-of-eight on the season. For the third time this season she played the full 40 minutes, adding four assists and two steals to her team-high point total.
Junior Hailey King was another bright spot for the Titans, scoring a season-high 13 points off the bench, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range.  Against the Coyotes, King also earned a season-high in minutes played (23), and shot attempts (6).

BREAKING DOWN FRESNO STATE
The Fresno State Bulldogs enter the 2014-15 season on a streak of appearing in seven-straight NCAA Tournaments, tied for 14th-longest in the country.
The Bulldogs have kicked off their non-conference schedule this season with a 4-3 record, beating Cal Poly, Cal State Stanislaus, San Diego and UC Riverside, while losing at USC, at Cal State Bakersfield and at George Washington.  All losses this season have come away from Save Mart Center for the Bulldogs, earning a perfect 3-0 record at home.
Leading the Bulldog offense so far this season is senior forward Alex Sheedy.  In 29 minutes per game this season, Sheedy is averaging 15.1 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game.  Fellow senior, Raven Fox is right behind Sheedy averaging 10.3 points per game on 50-percent shooting from the field.
The Bulldogs are only allowing opposing teams to shoot 37 percent from the field against them and 29 percent from behind the three-point line this season.

CONFERENCE CALL
Cal State Fullerton is 91-83 all-time against the Mountain West Conference.

OLD CONFERENCE FOES
Before Fresno State moved to the Western Athletic Conference in 1992, the Titans and Bulldogs met 12 times in Big West Conference Play.  Fullerton leads the all-time record in BWC action 8-4.  The Titans home record in that span was 5-1, with a 3-3 record on the road.  They have met twice in Big West Conference Tournament play, each earning one win apeice.

MILES JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB
With 16 points on Saturday against South Dakota, Chante Miles pushed her career total to 1,011 points, becoming the 23rd member of the 1,000-point club for Titan women's basketball.  The senior guard is 22nd on the Fullerton all-time scoring list, passing Joey Ray (1,004 points) on Saturday.  The next milestone for Miles is 13 points away, as Alex Thomas, who joined the 1,000-point club last season, is currently sitting in 21st place with 1,024 points.

CAREER NIGHTS
Chante Miles: The guard from Compton, Calif. could not be stopped Nov. 24 at Weber State as she dropped a career-high 35 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field and was 6-of-9 from behind the arc.  Not only did Miles light up the scoreboard, but she also got her teammates involved in the game, tying her season-high in assists with six.
Amanda Tivenius: The freshman from Lindingo, Sweden scored a career-high 16 points on a very efficient 6-of-8 shooting from the floor against San Diego on Nov 18.
Daeja Smith: Freshman Daeja Smith produced the first double-double of her career Nov. 29 against New Mexico State, dropping 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, while adding a career-high three blocks.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS
The Fullerton coaching staff will be looking to Kathleen Iwuoha and Chante Miles to lead this team all season.  The two seniors have not dissapointed so far as Miles leads the team in minutes per game (37.0), points per game (19.0), three-point shots made per game (3.1), and free throw percentage (91%).  Iwuoha has been dominant on the boards this season, getting into double figures in rebounds for three of the Titans first six games.  She has pulled down a team-high 7.0 total rebounds per game, and a team-high 3.1 offensive rebounds per game this season.

SPREADING OUT THE MINUTES
Everybody on the Titan roster has been able to contribute to the team so far this season.  With eight games under their belt, all of Fullerton's 11 student-athletes have been called upon for important minutes.  Chante Miles leads the team with 37.0 minutes per game, with Kathleen Iwuoha right behind her with 26.6 minutes per game.

HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT
Cal State Fullerton's 2014-15 slate will feature eight teams that were either in the NCAA tournament or WNIT postseason tournaments a year ago, with five of those matchups appearing in the non-conference schedule.
"I'm very excited about our upcoming non-conference schedule," said Park.  "I think it is a schedule filled with great tests that ultimately will prepare us for the Big West Conference.  Villanova and Albany are two great teams that we get the opportunity to play here at home.  Both are extremely well-coached. We played Albany last year at their place and they are extremely talented. We will have to be at our best early to compete with those teams. Certainly tough road trips in-state to Fresno State and San Diego, but it's important to play those teams. They are what we are aspiring to be eventually."

GLOBE TROTTING
Fullerton's global reach became a little longer this season with two newcomers from outside of the U.S.  Freshman Amanda Tivenius hailing from Lindingo, Sweden, and Dhanyel Johnson from Spanish Town, Jamaica.

MILES EARNS BACK TO BACK PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
Chante Miles, who has led the Titans in scoring in three-straight games, earned back-to-back Buffalo Wild Wings of Brea Student-Athlete of the Week honors.  It is the first time a Titan has earned the award in consecutive weeks since Christina Burkenroad was given the award for the weeks of Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.

EXPERIENCE LEADS THE WAY
Fullerton has experimented with three different starting lineups this season, and have seen different results with each combination.  The past three games the Titans have sent out a more experienced group of returners, with only one freshman (Daeja Smith) in the starting lineup.  The results have been encouraging as the starting lineup of Chante Miles, Samantha Logan, Tailer Butler, Kathleen Iwuoha and Smith has posted a 2-1 record.

KING'S BIG NIGHT
Junior Hailey King was a bright spot for the Titans on Saturday against South Dakota scoring a season-high 13 points off the bench, shooting 4-of-6 from the field and a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range.  Against the Coyotes, King also earned a season-high in minutes played (23), and shot attempts (6).
