A native of Sweden, Tivenius will join the Titans in the fall after completing her high school degree in the coming months.

"We are thrilled to announce the addition of Amanda to our Titan family," Park said. "Amanda is everything you could ask for in a student-athlete, and will be a great complement for Cal State Fullerton."

As a member of the U18 and U16 Sweden national team, Tivenius averaged 5.6 points per game to go along with eight rebounds per contest. She was also named the player of the game in the final of the Nordic Championship against Finland after pouring in 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Currently, Tivenius is playing for the Solna Vikings club team, which plays in the top women's league in Sweden. As a rookie, she has averaged 18 minutes and is coming off her best performance of the season where she scored nine points and collected 11 rebounds.

"She is a tenacious player on the floor and does all the little things to help her teams win," Park said. "She moves well without the ball, and is a very good presence offensively. As a national team member, her international playing experience will serve well as she transitions to basketball here in the United States."

Before joining the Vikings, Tivenius played for the Lidingö Basket club where she led the team in scoring (13 ppg), rebounds (12.4 rpg), and assists (2.4 apg). During the 2012-13 season, she was named the league's forward of the year and received the Coach award, which is given to the hardest working player.
