Opening Statement
"We appreciate your support of our team. Congrats to Jody and LBSU. It was a great battle tonight and I wish them success moving forward. It's a nice program they have. I'm really proud of our effort tonight. We have a platform of giving energy. We had some timely miscues but I'm so proud of this team and the effort they gave. I am so grateful and humbled that the seniors embraced our staff and let us teach them, coach them, and develop them in things I don't think they thought was possible. This isn't the standard we set for this program but I proud of them. While this hurts tonight we are excited about the future."
On having 18 steals as a team and not pressing sooner
"We started with press but you're right we have a shallow bench so we tried to press at first. We talked about it at halftime to throw it back on and we were successful in it. Were not a team that's going to press for 40 minutes but I thought we did a good job of making it difficult for LBSU."
On how the loss affects the team going forward
"It's going to sting. We're not happy about it. We're going to work day in and day out. That's the drive we have. They want to be great. These seniors laid a foundation. You have to remember this feeling when no one is around and this feeling will drive you to be a champ next year in March."
