FULLERTON, Calif. – The 2015 Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team will feature 17 new additions to the squad that won the program's first-ever Big West Conference Tournament in 2014.
Throughout the summer, FullertonTitans.com will "Get to Know" the newest Titans, that will step on campus for the 2015-16 academic year.
The fourth Titan signee to join FullertonTitans.com for a Q&A is forward Marshall Metzger.

FullertonTitans.com: What made you ultimately decide to attend Cal State Fullerton and play for the Titans?
Marshall Metzger: I've always enjoyed the California environment, and I felt very fortunate to have an opportunity to play for such a highly respected coach as Coach Kuntz and his staff. I see great things happening for the men's soccer team at Fullerton.
FT: What position do you play, and what is your favorite aspect about playing that position?
MM: I play forward. I like being able to set up my teammates for goal scoring opportunities, as well as having an opportunity to score for the team. There's no feeling similar to scoring a goal or setting up a teammate for a goal in a big game for your team.
FT: What will the Titan fans expect to see from you on the field in 2015?
MM: I play with my back to the goal and do a good job maintaining possession. I'm aggressive in the air and love winning headers any chance I can get.
FT: What do you plan on studying in college and why?
MM: I plan on studying accounting. My mom is a CPA and I think an accounting degree will provide several options for me after I graduate.
FT: If you had a chance to spend the day with anyone throughout history, who would it be, and why?
MM: I would spend it with my grandpa who passed before I was born. I think it'd be cool for him to see his youngest grandchild (me) all grown up.
FT: What is your hidden talent?
MM: I can solve a Rubik's cube pretty quickly.
