FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's soccer team announced it's 2015 spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon after completing an exciting 2014 campaign that saw the Titans win their first ever Big West Conference Tournament and make their eighth overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament in their Division I history.

The Titans will play 10 games this spring against professional and collegiate opponents; five games will be featured at Titan Stadium this spring.

The highlight of the schedule is right around the corner, as Fullerton will take on the defending Major League Soccer champion LA Galaxy at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

The Galaxy finished the 2014 season with a 17-7-10 overall record and capped their exciting campaign with a 2-1 extra-time win over the New England Revolution in the MLS Cup Finals.

That same afternoon, Fullerton will line up against La Maquina of the United Premier Soccer League at 2:00 p.m. at Titan Stadium.  La Maquina finished atop of the standings in the Southeast Conference of the PSL in 2014 with an overall record of 13-0-1.

On Thursday, Feb. 19 the Titans will play a double header at Titan Stadium.  First Fullerton will welcome the OC Blues of the USL Professional Soccer Division at 10:30 a.m.  Then at 7:00 p.m., the Titans will take the pitch against a team that has yet to be determined.

Fullerton will hit the road for two games on Saturday, Feb. 28, as they head south to take on a Mountain West Conference opponent San Diego State at 11:00 a.m. The Titans will stay at SDSU Sports Deck later that day for a contest against Cal State San Bernardino at 12:45 p.m.

San Bernardino finished 2014 with a 9-5-2 overall record and ended their season with a loss to Cal State University, Dominguez Hills in the first round of the California Collegiate Athletic Association men's soccer tournament.

The final two games held at Titan Stadium in the 2015 spring schedule will be Saturday, Mar. 7 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.  The first game of the double header will feature the Titans against Cal State San Marcos, and the second game the Titans will host Cal Poly Pomona.

The spring schedule rounds out on Sunday, Mar. 15 with two games at Loyola Marymount College in Los Angeles, Calif.  The Titans will kick off against the LMU Lions at Sullivan Stadium at 10:00 a.m. and play their final game of the spring against El Camino College later that same day at 12:00 p.m. again at Sullivan Stadium.

Admission to soccer spring matches at Titan Stadium is free of charge.

With 10 wins in his first season on the Fullerton bench, head coach George Kuntz led the Titans to their first ever Big West Conference Tournament Championship while compiling the most wins in an inaugural season as a Titan head coach since Al Mistri won 13 games in his opening season in 1981.

The Titans' season came to and end with a run into the NCAA Tournament for only the eighth time in Fullerton's Division I history, finishing with a record of 10-8-6 overall and 3-4-3 in the Big West Conference play.  The Titans earned their first winning season since 2001 and won the Big West Conference Tournament for the first time in school history.

After a senior campaign that included a second-team All-Big West selection, a Big West Tournament Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament, Ian Ramos was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Far West Region Third Team.

The New England Revolution drafted senior forward Marc Fenelus in the third round of the Major League Soccer 2015 Superdraft.  In 2014, the 5-foot-11 forward had his best year as a Titan, appearing in all 24 matches and started 22 games.  He led the Titans in goals (7), points (16), and game-winning goals (3).  Fenelus becomes the 31st Titan in the history of the program to play professional soccer, and the 19th to play in the MLS.
