Titans Improve to Third Place Heading Into Final Round at Big West Championship

LA QUINTA, Calif. – After two rounds at the Big West Championship, Cal State Fullerton is in third place with a score of 6-over par 582.

The Titans improved on their round one score. Moving up from fifth place after round one to third place heading into the third and final round. 

Garrett Boe is within striking distance of first place as he is tied for second after shooting 3-under par 69 in round two. Boe was tied for sixth after the first round of the tournament. Overall he is 2-under par through two rounds. 

Harry Doig is tied for seventh at even par 144. Doig shot a 2-under par 70 in the second round to move up from tied for 10th. Teagan Andrews greatly improved in the second round of the tournament. Andrews shot 3-under par 69 on day two to move up from tied for 23rd to tied for ninth place heading into round three.  

Matt Rafter is tied for 24th after shooting 7-over par 151 through two rounds. Trevor McNary is in 43rd place at 20-over par 164. 

Fullerton looks to continue its strong play in the third and final round of the Big West Championship Tuesday morning. Tee times begin at 10:30 a.m. PT.
