Men's Golf in Fifth After Round One at Big West Championship

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton is in fifth place after round one at the Big West Championship Sunday with a score of 12-over par 300. 

Garrett Boe leads the team individually with a score of 1-over par 73 in round one of the tournament to leave him tied for sixth. Harry Doig sits tied for 10th at 2-over par 74 heading into round two. 

Teagan Andrews shot a 4-over par 76 in the first round to place him tied for 23rd after day one. Matt Rafter is tied for 25th with a 5-over par 77 while Trevor McNary is in 43rd at 13-over par 85.

Long Beach State leads the field after round one with a 1-under par 287. Lucas Carper is in first individually at 2-under par 70. 

Round two of the Big West Championship begins at 10:30 a.m. at the La Quinta Country Club Monday morning.
