Omari Prince enters his first year, the 2020-21 season, as the video coordinator after having served the previous seasons as a student manager; a role he is still currently active in.

Prince assists the coaching staff with a variety of video-related responsibilities. As the team’s video coordinator, he oversees all aspects of the team’s video needs, including opponent scouting, film exchange, managing the video room, and supplying the coaching staff with game film and edits. Prince also aid’s in the management and organization of the team’s daily practices, supports team travel and logistics. Additionally, he assists with player development under the direction of the coaching staff.

Prior to being elevated to the team’s video coordinator, Prince served as a Peer Educator with Team INC, a nonprofit organization that teaches the youth STEM and sports technology which includes MyVideoAnalyser, SportsCode, Synergy, etc. 

As a student in his earlier undergraduate years, Prince spent time with the 2017-2018 Golden State Warriors in an internship role which was capped off with an NBA Championship. Most recently, he also served as a part time team attendant for the 2019-2020 Los Angeles Lakers before the COVID-19 shutdown, in which the season was capped off with an NBA Championship.

The native of Fairfield, CA received his Associate’s Degree in Business from Napa Valley College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising which he is expected to receive in the Spring of 2021.
