Jason Murrietta begins the 2021 season in his fourth campaign as the director of operations.

Murrietta comes to Fullerton with an impressive baseball resume, as he most recently served as the pitching coach at Reedley College (CA). While at Reedley College, Murrietta was heavily involved in recruiting and developed talent on the mound.

Before taking his talents to Reedley, Murrietta served as the head baseball coach at Madera High School. He took over an eight-win team in 2010, then helped guide the Coyotes to 16 wins in 2011 and 21 victories in 2012.

In addition to the 21 victories in 2012, Madera HS earned the top seed in postseason play, while Murrietta was named the league's Coach of the Year. He was selected to coach the All-Fresno County Team, while nine players went on to play at the collegiate level during his tenure.

Before being promoted to head coach, he served stints as an assistant coach at Madera HS, Esperanza HS and Saddleback College.

Murrietta played college baseball at Vanguard University and graduated with his degree in business administration.
