FULLERTON, Calif. – Following the conclusion of the 2022 MLB Draft, Jackson Lyon signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New York Yankees organization Monday afternoon.

Lyon had his best collegiate season in 2022, finishing second on the team with a .328 batting average which ranked ninth in the Big West. He also tied for second on the team with 36 runs and tied for third on the team with 29 RBI. 

Lyon finished second on the team with seven home runs while recording 11 doubles and two triples and earned Big West Honorable Mention following the year. For his career, Lyon hit .299 with 58 runs and 46 RBI.
