Game Notes

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball returns to the field Tuesday night as the team travels south to take on San Diego State at Tony Gwynn Stadium with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.

Fullerton looks to continue its strong start to the season after taking two out of three games against No. 17 Stanford on opening weekend. Cal State Fullerton outscored the Cardinal 14-4 in the series. With the series win over Stanford, Fullerton moved to No. 24 in D1 Baseball's rankings.

The Titans have dominated San Diego State historically with an all-time record of 41-16 including a 19-8 record on the road against the Aztecs. San Diego State is 2-1 this season with wins over Virginia Tech and Coastal Carolina.

Fullerton's probable starter for Tuesday night's game is San Diego native Michael Knorr who will make his first appearance of the 2020 season. In 2019, Knorr had a record of 4-4 in 14 appearances with 11 starts.
