FULLERTON, Calif. - Former Cal State Fullerton infielder Christian Colon was named to the Kansas City Royals postseason roster as the Royals fell 5-2 to the Houston Astros Thursday night at Kauffman Stadium.

In addition, two of the most decorated former Cal State Fullerton stars are set to make their 2015 Major League Baseball postseason debut Friday night with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Justin Turner and Tim Wallach along with the Dodgers will take on the New York Mets, Turner's former team, Friday night at 6:45 p.m. on TBS. Check your local listings for the channel in your area.

Colon appeared in 43 games for the Royals in 2015 and batted .290 with 31 hits and 11 walks in 119 plate appearances. He had five doubles and six RBI.

Turner played in a career-high 126 games during the 2015 season with the Dodgers. He tallied 113 hits, tying his career best he set with the Mets in 2011. Turner batted .294 with the Dodgers this year with 16 home runs and 60 RBI, both new career highs. His 16 homers surpassed the 15 home runs he hit in six prior seasons combined. Turner also had 26 doubles, one triple and five stolen bases to go along with 55 runs scored, another career best.

In his four years at Fullerton, Turner batted .328 with 331 hits and 51 stolen bases in 253 games played. He hit eight home runs and 61 doubles to go along with seven triples and 157 RBI. Turner was an All-American in 2003 and 2006 and was the co-Big West Conference Player of the Year in 2006.

Wallach makes his third straight appearance in the postseason with the Dodgers, his second as bench coach. While apart of Don Mattingly's coaching staff, Wallach and the Dodgers have advanced to the postseason in three straight years for the first time in franchise history.

Wallach was named the SCBA Player of the Year as well as an All-American by both The Sporting News and the American Baseball Coaches Association, and later went on to win the Golden Spikes Award and National Player of the Year Award as the nation's top amateur player after leading the Titans to their first national championship in 1979.
