INDIANAPOLIS - The field for the Fullerton Regional hosted by Cal State Fullerton is set as the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee announced the field for the 69th annual NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on Monday.
The Titans (34-22, 19-5 Big West), who won their 28th overall conference championship and 20th Big West crown in 2015, will host No. 2-seed Arizona State (34-21), No. 3-seed Clemson (32-27), and No. 4 seed Pepperdine (30-27).
The Titans ended the regular season on a six-game winning streak and went 11-2 in the month of May to surge to the top of the Big West Conference standings.
Fullerton clinched its 28th conference title outright with a 4-0 victory over Long Beach State on Saturday, May 22. Coupled with a UC Santa Barbara loss at UC Riverside, the Titans clinched the conference title outright and earned the automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. It will be Fullerton's 37th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, including its 24th in a row.
Cal State Fullerton will face No. 4-seed Pepperdine on Friday with game time set for 7 p.m. PT on ESPN3.
The Waves won the West Coast Conference tournament and will be making their second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. Last season, the Waves won the San Luis Obispo Regional and came one win short of the College World Series, falling at the Fort Worth Super Regional against Texas Christian.
The Titans defeated the Waves 3-0 on March 3 in their only meeting of the season. The Titans and Waves have faced off seven times in the postseason, with Fullerton holding a 4-3 record.
No. 2-seed Arizona State will face No. 3-seed Clemson in the other Regional contest on Friday with first pitch set for 3 p.m. PT. Each of the 16 NCAA Regionals features a four-team, double-elimination format.
Goodwin Field previously hosted in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013. When playing at Goodwin, the Titans have won the Regional and moved on to Super Regional competition on nine occasions. In addition, when the Titans have hosted a regional, they have advanced to the College World Series on five occasions (2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009).
The Titans also boast a record of 34-9 during Regional play at Goodwin Field. In 2004, Arizona State and Pepperdine came to Goodwin Field as the No. 2 and No. 4 seeds in the Fullerton Regional. The Titans would go on to win the national title that year.
Cal State Fullerton last hosted a regional in 2013 when the Titans finished 3-0 with a win over Columbia in the opening game and then two straight wins over Arizona State. The Titans would go on to host the Super Regional round, where they lost to eventual National Champions UCLA.
The national top eight seeds for this year's tournament are UCLA (42-14), Louisiana State (48-10), Louisville (43-16), Florida (44-16), Miami (44-14), Illinois (47-8), Texas Christian (43-11) and Missouri State (45-10).

SEASON TICKET HOLDER SINGLE-GAME PRESALE
Individual tickets will go on sale for Cal State Fullerton baseball season ticket holders beginning Monday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. The presale will be available online at fullertontitans.com and run until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26. Season ticket holders wishing to purchase tickets during the presale must log into their accounts online through the "Buy Online" link in the tickets tab on the fullertontitans.com home page or by clicking here.
Season ticket holders please be advised that game times are currently listed as TBA, as game times have not been announced. Once the official game times are released by the NCAA, they will be updated accordingly.
BE ADVISED: All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
If you are a Cal State Fullerton baseball season ticket holder and have turned in your NCAA Baseball Postseason Regional Order Form, your seats have been reserved. Season ticket holders may pick up their Regional All-Session tickets beginning at 2pm on Wednesday, May 27, at the Athletic Ticket Office at the Titan House on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.
