FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton Titans men and women's outdoor track and field program released its 2015 season schedule on Friday afternoon looking to build on the personal and team successes of last season.

The Titans begin their 2015 campaign on Saturday, Mar. 7 in Riverside, Calif. to compete against UC Riverside and Riverside Community College.  The Titans return home to host the annual Ben Brown Invitational at Titan Track Complex on Mar. 13-14.  Fullerton will look to have a great showing in front of their fans, as this meet will be only one of two hosted at home all season.

Fullerton will then pack its bags and travel to Las Vegas, Nev. to take part in the UNLV Invitational on Mar. 20-21, before heading back to Riverside on Mar. 26-28 to join in on the action at the UC Riverside Invitational for the second year in a row.  Another in-state road trip to Westwood, Calif. will follow when the team heads to the UCLA Legends Invite on Apr. 3-4.

On Apr. 10 the Titans will get a chance to host the Big West Challenge meet at Titan Track Complex. Five days later they are back on the road to Azusa, Calif. to take part in the CA Invitational Combined Events on Apr. 15-16.  The April schedule will come to an end with meets on Apr.16-18 in Walnut, Calif. at the Mt. Sac Relays, and Apr. 24-25 at the UCSD Triton Invite.

The May schedule kicks off with a short trip to Irvine, Calif. to compete in the Steve Scott Invitational on May 1, before traveling to Northridge, Calif. to contend against CSUN and Fresno State on May 2.  The Big West Combined Events is scheduled for May 8-9 in Riverside with the regular season schedule rounding out on May 9 in Eagle Rock at the OXY Invite.

The Big West Conference Championships will be held in Riverside on May 15-16, while the NCAA West Region Championships will be in Austin, Texas on May 28-30.

The NCAA Championships will be June 10-13 in Eugene, Ore.

The Titan outdoor track and field teams have a strong contingent of returners ready to build on their personal successes last season.  The returning trio of Janaya Shorty, Deena Pierce and Alexandria Stewart look to lead the new crop of Titan sprinters and hurdlers into the new season, as Taylor Ros looks to do the same on the men's side just a year removed from a third-place finish in the 400-meters at the Big West Championships. Tejera Dial and Anna Valdovinos head up the charge for the distance runners, while Amanda Mercado, Taylor Frank and Kenneth Callinan will look to set the example for the throwers after a strong 2014 campaign.

Fans can follow the men and women's track and field team all season long on Cal State Fullerton's Track and Field Facebook page (Facebook.com/FullertonTF) or by following the Titans on Twitter (@FullertonTF).
