Buffalo Wild Wings of Brea Student Athlete of the Week – Week One
Senior forward Marc Fenelus scored two goals last weekend at the UNLV Nike Invitational, including the game winner in Sunday’s 4-3 upset of 14th-ranked UMBC, to earn Buffalo Wild Wings of Brea Student-Athlete of the Week honors.
With only 35 seconds remaining in double overtime, Fenelus delivered the golden goal with a 10-yard shot to the right post that was assisted by junior Colin Okirie. The game winner was part of a four-goal second half for the Titans that included three unanswered goals as the Titans erased a 3-1 deficit after the 66th minute. Fenelus, who is tied for the team lead with two goals, also scored in Friday’s 2-1 loss to Detroit. The native of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, was named to the UNLV Nike Invitational All-Tournament team. The goal also earned Fullerton its first win of the season as well as the first victory of the George Kuntz era.
