Cal State Fullerton Athletics

Summer joined the Titans during the 2013-14 academic year and currently serves as Associate Athletics Director, CFO. She is primarily responsible for the planning, managing, and reporting of the athletic department’s financial activities. She directs and oversees the business office, human resources, equipment operations, and facilities. Her duties also include the administration and supervision of the women’s volleyball program.

Summer serves as the principal advisor to the Athletic Director with respect to short and long term financial planning, including assessing the resources available for the development and execution of capital projects and departmental initiatives. She works closely with head coaches on budget development and management throughout the annual budget process.

Prior to CSUF Athletics, Summer worked in leadership roles in the private sector for more than 15 years in customer service management and human resources management. 

A native of Anaheim, California, Summer graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources and earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in management from Cal State Fullerton.
