FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans officially reported back to campus this week, as they met for the first time as a team on Tuesday, held their first official team practice on Wednesday and took part in team photo day on Thursday.
The 2018 Titans have plenty of reasons to be optimistic heading into the new campaign, as they welcome in 12 newcomers, including four transfers and eight freshmen, helping to make up Fullerton's tallest squad in head coach Ashley Preston's fourth season in Orange County.

In addition to a promising group of newcomers, Fullerton brings back 10 returners, including an impressive senior class in Summer Kerins, Madeline Schneider, Cady Francis and Nastassja Bowman. Schneider is primed for a breakout season as she enters her third and final season as a Titan. She earned Big West Honorable Mention accolades a season ago, leading Fullerton in almost every offensive category, including kills with 335. That mark ranked 10th highest in the conference a year ago.
"I'm excited for this group," Preston said. "This is a team that is hungry and feels like it has a lot to prove. The energy in camp so far has been fantastic and I'm excited to see how this team continues to grow."

The Titans are just a little over two weeks away from the start of the regular season, as they'll open up the 2018 season at home on Aug. 24th at 2 pm PT vs. Akron in the opening match of the Fullerton/Riverside Classic.
However, Titans fans won't even have to wait that long to see the squad in action, as Fullerton will host its annual alumni match on Aug. 18th at 9:30 am PT inside Titan Gym prior to its Welcome Back fundraiser at 11:30 am PT.
