FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball program will play a 30-match schedule during the 2018 season, featuring 14 home matches and two tournaments played at Titan Gym, head coach Ashley Preston announced on Friday.

The Titans kick off the 2017 slate with the annual Blue/Orange match on Saturday, August 18 at Titan Gym, serving as the first opportunity for fans to see the Titans in action. Entry will be free for all Titan fans and supporters.

The regular season gets underway the following weekend, as the Titans will play host to the Fullerton/Riverside Classic. Fullerton will open the season with the Akron Zips on Aug. 24th at 2 pm PT and then UMass at 7 pm PT later on that night.

The Titans will conclude the tournament on Aug. 25th with a matchup vs. Montana at 11 am PT.

Fullerton then hits the road for a season-long seven consecutive matches away from Titan Gym. The Titans will fly cross country to the state of New York, where they'll clash with Manhattan on Aug. 30th. Fullerton will then make the drive across town to take part in the St. Francis Brooklyn Tournament.

The Titans will play Delaware State and Bucknell on Aug. 31st to open tournament play. The Bucknell Bison finished 14-14 overall a season ago and 8-8 in the Patriot League.

Fullerton finishes up the event playing host St. Francis Brooklyn on Sept. 1.

The Titans will then head to Las Vegas, Nevada, where they'll take part in the UNLV Tournament. Fullerton will open up against Eastern Kentucky at noon. The Colonels finished 13-19 overall a season ago and went 10-6 in Ohio Valley Conference action. The Titans close out the day vs. host UNLV at 7 pm PT, before finishing tournament play off with Fordham on Sept. 8 at 11:30 am PT.

The Titans return home to host their final tournament of the season. Fullerton opens up the Titan Tournament vs. San Franisco on Sept 14 at 7 pm PT before closing the event and non-conference play out with Idaho at 2 pm PT on Sept. 15th. The Vandals may very well be Fullerton's toughest test in non-conference play, as Idaho finished 18-11 overall and 12-4 in the Big Sky a year ago.

Fullerton then begins Big West play at CSUN on Sept. 18. It'll finish the regular season at Cal Poly on Nov. 17. Fullerton takes on the defending Big West Champions twice, as it'll play a home match vs. Cal Poly on Sept. 21st at 7 pm PT and will end the season at Cal Poly. Titans also look forward to taking on national power Hawai'i at home on Oct. 20 at 7 pm PT.
