POINT LOMA, Calif. – The Titans took care of business this Saturday at Point Loma Nazarene University.  

No. 2 doubles (Camila Garcia/Jadie Acidera) were the first to finish and get their win against Neilson and Person, 6-2. The Titans were able to seal the doubles point after No. 3 doubles, YuSeung Suh and Natalie Duffy defeated their opponents 6-4. 

In singles, Camila Garcia cruised through her match by only dropping two games (6-2, 6-0). After her first set, YuSeung Suh, breezed through the second  (6-4, 6-0) to boost the Titans up to an overall score of 3-0. 

On court 1, Misaki Kobayashi finished up her match 6-4, 6-1 to secure the win for the Titans. 

The remaining matches continued to play at No. 2,  No. 3 and No. 4 singles. In a close match that came down to a tiebreaker, Natalie Duffy, was able to come out on top at 6-1, 7-6 (8-6). Eira Tobrand, fell to her opponent (5-7, 3-6), to give the Sea Lions their first point of the match. 

At No. 3 singles, Jadie Acidera made her first appearance in the singles lineup this season. Acidera used a variety of shots and plays at the net to defeat her opponent in a third set tiebreaker, (5-7, 6-1, 10-3). The final score of the evening for the Titans was 6-1.
