FULLERTON, Calif. – It came down to the final set of the final singles match of the day.  With all eyes on her, Jadie Acidera locked in for a 6-1 final set win to give the Titans a 4-3 victory over a very strong New Mexico team.  With the win, the Titans improved to 6-2 in non-conference dual match play.

Head coach Dianne Matias had this to say about the win:  "Today's match gave us a lot of confidence.  We learned from our two losses, and concentrated on trying to keep more balls in play."

Eira Tobrand and Genevieve Zeidan made quick work of their Lobos doubles opponents, 6-0.  Though the other pairs battled, neither could win their set, and New Mexico earned the first point of the match.

With the Titans needing four points to secure a victory, Genevieve Zeidan, YuSeung Suh, Camila Garcia, and the aforementioned Jadie Acidera came through with singles wins to garner a very emotional match win for Fullerton.
