FULLERTON, Calif. – Fullerton continues its 8-match homestand this Thursday against Loyola Marymount at 1:30pm P.T. at the Titans Tennis Courts.
TITANS
The Titans (3-2) are playing their fourth straight home game this Thursday against the Loyola Marymount Lions (2-3).
The Titans look good at home as they currently own a 2-1 record while playing at the Titans Tennis Courts.
Last Sunday, Fullerton had an impressive performance for the Big West Conference opener as they were able to top UC Davis 5 to 1.
Jadie Acidera is now on a six-win streak, including the last five in dual matches where she still stands undefeated at No.6.
Karla Portalatin is also looking to build on her last two great performances at No.2.
OPPONENT
Loyola Marymount (2-3) faced strong opposition early on this season.
They dropped three matches to UCLA (#8), USC and Oregon and picked a pair of wins against Arkansas and FIU.
The Lions are 0-3 when playing away.
HISTORY
The Titans and the Lions met 27 times with their first match-up dating back to 1984.
Loyola Marymount counts 22 wins and Fullerton five.
However, Fullerton have won three of the last four matches against Loyola Marymount.
The last time the two teams met was last season in Los Angeles, and the Lions came out on top 4-3.
