PALOS VERDES, Calif. – Genevieve Zeidan picked up her second win of the weekend and is advancing to the Quarter Finals. The Titans picked up two more wins in the other brackets.

After their first win, two Titans were competing in the main bracket this Friday. Genevieve Zeidan showed a strong performance against Baylor's Kristina Sorokolet as she needed only two sets to defeat her opponent. This 6-1, 6-2 win allows her to move on to the Quarter Finals.

She will be facing Anastasia Lamachkine from Pepperdine this Saturday at 9am PT. Lamachkine also owned two impressive wins to reach the quarter finals. The winner of this game will play the Semi Finals this Saturday also at 12pm PT against the winner of the game opposing No.1 seed Livia Kraus from Baylor and Sophia Chow from Univ. of San Diego.

Caisey Lee Emery was not able to reach the Quarter Finals after losing her game 6-1, 6-0 against Ayan Broomfield from UCLA.

In doubles, Genevieve Zeidan and Karla Portalatin came out victorious with an 8-5 win over the University of Arizona duo of Furak and Zandberg in their first game of the day.

Their second game of the day in the Doubles Quarter Finals was against Pepperdine team of Lamachkine and Milovanovic. The Titans fought hard but dropped the game 8-7.

Two other Titans took the courts this Friday in the Singles consolation bracket. Karla Portalatin was able to pick up a win against El Pusan in two sets, 6-2,7-5. However, Masako Makiba conceded the loss against UCR' Silpachai in a hard-fought game in 3 sets, 7-5,4-6,10-2.
