FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis program will officially begin its fall season this weekend, as the Titans will take part in the Beach Tennis Tournament at Long Beach State University this Friday through Sunday
After Genevieve Zeidan, Karla Portalatin and Sarah Nuno started their Fall season last week competing in the ITA All-American Championships, the rest of the team will begin their 2018-19 campaign this Friday.
The Titans will have seven players competing in this weekend's tournament divided in three singles flights (A,B and C) and two doubles flights (A and B). Competitors from Washington State University, CSUN, Grand Canyon University, LMU, Portland State University and host Long Beach State will also be in attendance.
Singles play draw is divided in three flights. In Flight A, the Titans will be represented by Caisey Lee Emery and Jadie Acidera. In Flight B, three Titans will be competing: Masako Makiba, Tiani Jadulang and Eira Tobrand. Flight C will see Petra Such and Taylor Valenzuela play their first game of the Fall.
In doubles, two teams will compete in Flight A: Masako Makiba/Jadie Acidera and Caisey Lee Emery/Eira Tobrand. While in flight B, Valenzuela and Such will team up together and Jadulang will share the court with CSUN's Sibel Demirbaga.
Each day of competition will begin with doubles play. Doubles competition will begin at 10 am PT on Friday and 9 am PT on Saturday and Sunday.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at the eastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.
