MALIBU, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton's doubles tandem of Karla Portalatin and Sarah Nuno saw their run at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships end, as the duo fell to North Carolina's Cameron Morra and Chole Ouellet-Pizer 8-3, Sunday afternoon in Malibu.
The duo certainly had an impressive an impressive run, as it came just two wins shy of earning a berth in the All-American Championships Qualifying Draw. The tandem upset Florida State's duo of Andrea Garcia and Julia Mikulski 8-7 (4) on Saturday.
The Titans will be back in action next weekend, as they'll head to Long Beach for the Long Beach State Invitational beginning on Friday.
