FULLERTON, CA - Michelle Erasmus won the No. 6 singles match to give Cal State Fullerton its fourth and decisive point Saturday afternoon for a 4-3 non-conference women's tennis victory over Loyola Marymount.
After losing the doubles point, 2-0 with the No. 1 match abandoned, the Titans (6-7) won three of the first four completed singles matches for a 3-2 lead with No. 5 and No. 6 still competing. Erasmus won her match, 6-3, 7-5, over Lisa Piller, which was the difference when LMU's (2-8) Julia Norlin beat Emilia Borkowski in the No. 5 contest.
