Titans Try to Regain Even W-L Record this Weekend

FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team will attempt to climb back to the .500 level this weekend when the Titans host Loyola Marymount on Saturday and SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday.  Both non-conference matches begin at 11 a.m.

Fullerton is 5-7 overall, losing to Pacific, 4-3, and UC Irvine, 7-0, since last evening its record.

LMU brings a 2-7 record to the Titan Courts.  The Lions of the West Coast Conference have a difficult schedule with losses to ranked teams such as UCLA, USC, UC Irvine, Long Beach State, Arizona and UNLV.  The wins have come over UC Riverside and at Cal Poly.

SIUE heads west out of the cold country with a 4-5 record to open its outdoor schedule.  The Cougars face Villanova in San Diego before trekking to Fullerton.  They are members of the NCAA Div. II  Great Lakes Valley Conference.  Lexi Aranda is on a six-match winning streak in singles play with an overall record of 7-2.
