Anteaters Roll to 7-0 Sweep of Titans

IRVINE, CA -- UC Irvine, ranked No. 41 in the nation, swept visiting Cal State Fullerton, 7-0, Wednesday afternoon in a Big West Conference women's tennis match.

The Anteaters (9-3, 3-0) won three of the six singles matches in straight sets after taking two of the three doubles contests. Alexis Valenzuela and Danielle Pham teamed up to win the No. 2 doubles match for Fullerton, which dropped to 5-7 on the season and 0-4 in Big West competition.

Fullerton hosts Loyola Marymount and Southern Illinois this weekend in a pair of non-conference matches.
